Brighton & Hove
The largest city in the county, Brighton (alongside the neighbouring Hove) is beloved by tourists, with its old-time seaside amenities, alternative shops and cafes, vibrant culture and historic landmarks; including the Royal Pavilion palace and its famed pebble beach.
Explore Eastbourne
The seaside town of Eastbourne serves as a microcosm of the county, with long stretches of pebbled beach (and accompanying pier), the sweeping South Downs countryside, a vibrant arts scene and historic and natural landmarks to see, including Eastbourne Redoubt and Beachy Head: the highest chalk sea cliff in the country.
