Churchill Retirement Living, the UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, has launched a competition to name its new retirement development in Newquay.
The retirement lifestyle developer is inviting local residents to propose a name for the development of 48 one and two bedroom apartments being built on Narrowcliff in Newquay.
The competition closing date is Friday 28th July and the lucky winner will receive £100 from Churchill Retirement Living. The winning name will also appear on the development itself and in all related marketing literature.
The new development will comprise 48 privately owned, self-contained apartments that are specially designed for the over 60s with features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a Lodge Manager. Communal facilities include an Owners’ Lounge, Guest Suite and landscaped gardens.
Like all Churchill Retirement Living Developments, the location has been chosen for convenience. It is close to shops and local amenities and is well served by public transport.
Bordered by 7 miles of glorious sandy beaches, Newquay is one of the nation’s favourite seaside towns. Situated a short walk away, Newquay town centre benefits from a comprehensive range of amenities, with a mix of national and local retailers. The town hosts an exciting events calendar with sporting, musical and food events to name but a few.
To enter the competition, please send your suggested name and the reason for it along with your name, address and phone number to: Jo Ridehalgh, Newquay Naming Competition, Freepost, CHURCHILL RETIREMENT LIVING, by Friday 11th August (and keep in mind that Churchill Retirement Living development names always end in ‘Lodge’). If more than one person suggests the winning name, the winner will be drawn from a hat. The chosen name is subject to approval by the local authority.
