St Andrew’s Lodge wins Chippenham Civic Society Award

Churchill Retirement Living’s St Andrew’s Lodge development in Chippenham is celebrating after it received a Conservation & Environment Award from the Chippenham Civic Society, in recognition of the redesign of its façade to reflect the architecture of the Causeway.

Churchill’s Senior Architect Karolina Rabiej, who played a key part in designing the new development, attended a special presentation at St Andrews Church on 25th October, where she received the award from Civic Society Chairman Mike Stone and the Mayor of Chippenham Cllr Liz Alstrom.

Members of the Civic Society also visited St Andrew’s Lodge on 25th October to meet the new apartment Owners who have already moved in, and find out about the social, relaxed and low maintenance lifestyle they are enjoying there.

Karolina said: “On behalf of my team I’d like to say a big thank you to Chippenham Civic Society for this award. St Andrew’s Lodge is a perfect example of our in-house design and planning specialists working closely and successfully with local stakeholders to create a design that makes a positive contribution to the character and appearance of the town. It’s wonderful to receive this recognition, and to see the thriving community of Owners who are now calling it home.”

Situated in the heart of Chippenham, St Andrews Lodge is a collection of 46 one and two bedroom apartments which provide attractive, high quality, secure, self-contained accommodation in landscaped grounds. Buyers can enjoy independent living and a sense of community, with the added benefits of a communal Owners’ Lounge, a Guest Suite, a Lodge Manager, and a 24 hour emergency call alarm service.
