Last week the Churchill team achieved two major award wins in one evening, at separate award ceremonies across Dorset and Hampshire.
First we were crowned the overall ‘Company of the Year’ at the Solent Business Awards 2016. These Awards, now in their second year, have become the premier multi-category awards scheme covering the entire South Coast and Solent, building on the 25-year legacy of the Hampshire Business Awards, and open to businesses throughout the region.
On the same evening, our Group Sales & Marketing Director Suzanne Revell was a winner in the Dorset Venus Awards 2016, in the ‘Media Marketing and PR Award’ category (sponsored by Exterion). Founded in 2009, these Awards celebrate the vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional, and national economy.
Accepting the Solent Business Award at a black-tie dinner at the Hilton Ageas Bowl, Southampton, Spencer McCarthy said:
“I’m very proud of the awards we’ve won this evening. Being recognised for our success across these very different awards really highlights the excellence of our people, our superb build quality, our customer service and the way we do business. We’ve worked hard to achieve this success, and it puts us in a strong position to continue to grow and create more employment both regionally and nationally.”
After picking up her Venus Award at a glamorous ceremony at the Bournemouth International Centre, Suzanne said:
“I’m thrilled to have won this award and to be recognised alongside so many talented and hardworking women in the local region. I’m also proud to represent the Churchill Retirement Living team, as without such a strong group of individuals around me I wouldn’t have achieved this success.”
