Ahead of its launch in Spring 2024, Churchill Retirement Living<\/a>\u2019s new development in Cranleigh<\/a> has been named Manns Lodge<\/a> to honour the former department store, Manns of Cranleigh. The store which originally sat next to the new development closed in October 2021 after trading for more than 130 years.  It was home to a variety of retail favourites, being extremely popular amongst locals, and the new name honours a Cranleigh landmark which many retirees will remember well.<\/p>

With the new development set to welcome its first occupants in Spring next year, there is already plenty of interest from local people wanting to downsize and enjoy an independent lifestyle in the heart of Cranleigh<\/a>. Therefore, Churchill is encouraging interested buyers to get in touch now to avoid disappointment.<\/p>

Manns Lodge<\/a> will comprise of a collection of 38 one and two bedroom privately owned apartments with tiled and fully integrated kitchens with built in appliances, a guest suite for family and friends to stay and visit and a beautiful, landscaped garden. Owners who reside at the development will also benefit from a Lodge Manager, free parking and an Owners Lounge to socialise and enjoy as they wish.<\/p>

Designed exclusively for the over 60s, Manns Lodge<\/a> will offer safe, low maintenance and independent living close to local shops and amenities. Cranleigh<\/a> is a vibrant village, reportedly the largest village in England. With a bustling high street featuring a wide range of independent shops, a weekly market and regular attractions such as fun days, classic car shows and markets there really is something the whole community can enjoy.<\/p>
