We also donated \u00a35 for every new Customer who attended Macmillan Coffee Mornings at our selling developments across the country. Churchill has a special relationship with Macmillan Cancer Support and we have now <strong>raised over \u00a3660,000 for the charity since 2009.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gidea Lodge in Romford raised the most for an individual development, with an impressive total of \u00a32,620. Other top fundraisers who deserve a special mention are Greenacres Lodge in Warlingham (\u00a32,023), Concorde Lodge in Filton (\u00a32,012), and Beatrice Lodge in Sittingbourne (\u00a31,425).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Further funds were also raised through a Grand Prize Draw run by our own charity, the Churchill Foundation. Colleagues across the country took part for the chance to win an amazing array of prizes donated by our generous Business Partners.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Lisa Sainsbury, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support, said: <\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>\u201cWe are so grateful for the long-standing commitment of the Churchill group and appreciate the time, effort and generosity that goes into playing a part in The World\u2019s Biggest Coffee Morning. The team have impressively put on many different activities to maximise their fundraising efforts for us and the money raised helps us with our vital work to support people affected by cancer. <\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>\u201cSadly, the number of people being diagnosed with cancer is increasing every year and that means Macmillan\u2019s support for people living with cancer is in more demand than ever. At Macmillan, we know how cancer can affect everything. We\u2019re here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, but we can't do it without the amazing people who fundraise for us.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Churchill\u2019s Chairman &amp; CEO Spencer McCarthy added:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>\u201cIt was great to see everyone taking part once again in Macmillan\u2019s World\u2019s Biggest Coffee Morning, and I\u2019m very proud to have beaten our ambitious \u00a360k fundraising target.
