Apartment Owners at Churchill Retirement Living<\/a>\u2018s Trinity Lodge in the heart of Formby took on the Movember challenge and helped raise \u00a3672 through sponsorship. This amount has been match-funded by Churchill\u2019s charitable arm \u2013 the Churchill Foundation \u2013 meaning a total of \u00a31,344 will go towards Prostate Cancer UK and CALM, a men\u2019s mental health charity.<\/p>\n

Colin Preston, David Smith, Alex Moon, Bill Black, Tom Bradshaw, Mark Summers and Reverend Chris Quine took on the challenge to raise awareness and much needed funds for their chosen charities, and to have a bit of fun along the way.<\/p>\n

Lodge Manager Jo Taylor, who oversees the day-to-day running of Trinity Lodge and helped co-ordinate the Movember challenge, said: \u201cThey have all done really well and I\u2019m very proud that they took part, with some impressive Movember Moustaches on display by the end of the month! We were delighted that the Churchill Foundation was able to match-fund the amount raised to support the amazing work of our chosen charities Prostate Cancer UK and CALM.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trinity Lodge is a retirement development of 42 one and two bedroom apartments for sale, specially designed for the over 60s to enable an active and independent lifestyle with no more worries about maintenance. The last few apartments remaining for sale at the Lodge have been designed to make life easier and more enjoyable in retirement years and offer security, peace of mind and independent living, while being surrounded by a friendly, new community.<\/p>\n
