Churchill Retirement Living has invited local school children to its Peel Lodge retirement development in Marlow to help bury a time capsule on site.<\/p>

Pupils from St Peter's Catholic Primary School joined Owners from the Lodge to bury the time capsule. The children brought a piece of best work from each class which included a drawing showcasing what they love about living in Marlow, as well as a school prospectus, branded uniform and book mark to place into the time capsule. Peel Lodge Owners also put in a copy of the Bucks Free Press newspaper, along with a photograph of themselves.<\/p>

Kathryn Thomas, head teacher at St Peter's Catholic Primary School, said:<\/p>

This has been a fun project for the school to get involved in and a wonderful opportunity for the children to meet with people from the wider community in Marlow and learn from them about the past. We\u2019re very grateful to Churchill Retirement Living for organising the visit - all of the pupils worked very hard on their contributions for the time capsule, which I\u2019m sure our descendants will have a lot of enjoyment looking through one day. We had great fun thinking about what people in the future will think when they dig it up!<\/p><\/blockquote>
