Celebrity baker Suzy Pelta helped Owners and visitors at Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s Heath Lodge development in Pinner raise \u00a3158 for local charity the Michael Sobell Hospice, at a special Warming Morning event.<\/p>

On Friday 22nd<\/sup> February everyone was welcomed out of the cold and into the warmth of Heath Lodge\u2019s cosy Owners\u2019 Lounge, where they joined Suzy for a baking demo and the opportunity to acquire a signed copy of her latest book \u201cMiracle Mug Cakes and Other Cheat\u2019s Bakes\u201d, as well as enjoying coffee and cake in return for a small donation.<\/p>

All of the money raised will go to Michael Sobell Hospice at Mount Vernon Hospital, which provides care, comfort, and support for local people facing life limiting illness.<\/p>

Suzy said:<\/p>

It was a pleasure to share some of my miracle mug cake recipes with everyone at Heath Lodge to help raise money for a fantastic local charity!<\/p><\/blockquote>

It was the perfect opportunity to learn a few baking tips and enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as experiencing the lifestyle on offer at the Lodge.\u201d<\/p>
