Local MP Chris Grayling joined Churchill Retirement Living on Friday 7th December to officially open its Headley Lodge development in Ashtead.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>

Locals visited the Lodge on Leatherhead Road to see Mr Grayling take part in an official ribbon cutting ceremony with Churchill\u2019s Chairman & CEO Spencer McCarthy, and Regional Managing Director Ian Byers.<\/p>

Visitors to the event were also given the opportunity to view the development\u2019s beautiful Show Complex, before being treated to a glass of fizz and canap\u00e9s in the Owners\u2019 Lounge.<\/p>

The Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP said: \u201cI was pleased to be asked to open the new Headley Lodge development in my constituency, and it was an honour to cut the ribbon. Retirement properties are a crucial part of meeting the UK\u2019s housing challenge and Churchill\u2019s new development is a significant addition to the housing provision here in Ashtead.\"<\/p>
