Rt Hon Richard Benyon MP joined Churchill Retirement Living to officially open its new Avonbank Lodge development in Newbury.<\/a><\/p>

More than 70 people visited the Lodge on West Street to see Mr Benyon take part in an official ribbon cutting ceremony with Churchill\u2019s regional managing director, James Barnes, and land and planning director, Andrew Burgess.<\/p>

Visitors to the event were also given the opportunity to view the development\u2019s beautiful Show Complex, before being treated to sparkling wine and canapes in the Owners\u2019 Lounge.<\/p>

Rt Hon Richard Benyon MP said:<\/p>

I was pleased to be asked to open the new Avonbank Lodge development in my constituency, and it was an honour to cut the ribbon. Retirement properties are a crucial part of helping to unblock the UK\u2019s housing crisis and Churchill\u2019s new development is a significant addition to the housing provision here in Newbury.<\/p><\/blockquote>
