Local MP Sir Christopher Chope has visited Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s highly-anticipated new Rothesay Lodge retirement development in Highcliffe.<\/a><\/p>

Sir Chope visited the development on Stuart Road to meet with Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s CEO Spencer McCarthy, before enjoying an exclusive tour of the new development.<\/p>

Rothesay Lodge comprises 48 privately owned, self-contained apartments that are specially designed for the over 60s with features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a Lodge Manager. Communal facilities include an Owners\u2019 Lounge which owners use for socialising and events, communal landscaped gardens, and a Guest Suite for visiting family and friends.<\/p>

Sir Christopher Chope MP said: \u201cI am grateful to Churchill Retirement Living for enabling me to see the new development and to meet some of those involved in the construction and design as well, as members of the team who will be looking after new Owners when they move in.<\/p>

\"I was pleased to learn that many of those who will be moving in are from the immediate neighbourhood which shows that this development is helping to satisfy a local need. Highcliffe is a great place in which to live for people of all ages and the addition of more good quality homes is most welcome.\u201d<\/p>

Spencer McCarthy added:<\/p>

We were delighted that Sir Chope was able to join us for a tour of our brand new Lodge.
