Local MP Wendy Morton visited Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s highly-anticipated new retirement development in Aldridge<\/a> last week, which is currently under construction.<\/p>

Mrs Morton visited the development on High Street to meet the construction team and was also given an exclusive tour of the site. Once complete, the new development will comprise 37 privately owned, self-contained apartments that are specially designed for the over 60s with features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a Lodge Manager. Communal facilities include an Owners\u2019 Lounge, Guest Suite and landscaped gardens.<\/p>

Stephen Freer, construction and commercial director at Churchill Retirement Living, said: \u201cWe were delighted that Mrs Morton was able to join us to see the progress we\u2019re making on the new site. Churchill\u2019s properties offer security, peace of mind and independent living for our Owners, along with community and support and have already attracted plenty of interest from retirees in the town.<\/p>
