Churchill Retirement Living has welcomed its first Owners to Linden Lodge in Bicester<\/strong><\/a>, where a thriving community is starting to take shape.<\/p>

The age exclusive development on Linden Road has seen the first wave of Owners move into their brand new one and two bedroom apartments, including Mr and Mrs Rogers who have moved to Bicester from Snettisham in Norfolk.<\/p>

The couple had lived in their home for 15 years when they decided to move to Linden Lodge. Mr Rogers said: \u201cWe decided that the time was right to downsize for health reasons. We needed somewhere that was secure with no maintenance so we could fully enjoy our retirement without having to worry about jobs that needed doing around the house.<\/p>

\u201cWe knew that retirement living was for us, and were pleased to hear that Churchill were building a new development in Bicester. We have a lot of friends and relations in the area so it was the ideal location for us to relocate to. The Lodge is located close to all of the shops and amenities that we need, so we\u2019re very pleased to call Linden Lodge home.\u201d<\/p>

New Owners Dicky Offord and Prue Walduck have lived in Bicester for 40 years and moved into their new apartment just before Christmas. Dicky added: \u201cAs we\u2019re getting older we\u2019d started to realise that our home, especially our big garden, was too much for us to keep on top of \u2013 it was definitely time to downsize.<\/p>

\u201cLinden Lodge is right in the middle of the town so we\u2019d noticed it being built when we went shopping. It\u2019s close to everything that we need and has been finished to an excellent quality specification so we didn\u2019t hesitate when we reserved our apartment.\u201d<\/p>

Linden Lodge is located just to the edge of the town centre and comprises 42 private, self-contained apartments that are specially designed for retired Owners, with features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a Lodge Manager.<\/p>

Communal facilities include an Owners\u2019 Lounge, Guest Suite and landscaped gardens. Like all Churchill Retirement Living Developments, the location has been chosen for convenience and is within easy walking distance of the wide selection of shops and amenities of Bicester town centre and has good public transport links.<\/p>
