Local MP Gareth Johnson visited Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s new Keyes Lodge development in Dartford<\/strong><\/a> last week, which is currently under construction.<\/p>

Mr Johnson visited the development on King Edward Avenue to install a special date plaque and was also given an exclusive tour of the site.<\/p>

Andy Hall, site manager at Keyes Lodge, said: \u201cWe were delighted that Mr Johnson was able to join us to mark this occasion. Churchill\u2019s developments offer security, peace of mind and independent living for our Owners, along with community and support.  Being in a manageable home with no maintenance can offer a new lease of life for people \u2013 ensuring they are close to amenities, and surrounded by a new community.  We are delighted to be bringing our new development to Dartford and have already seen lots of interest from local over 60s keen to find out more about the benefits of retirement living.\u201d<\/p>

The development comprises 68 privately owned, self-contained one and two bedroom apartments that are specially designed for the over 60s.<\/p>

The apartments include features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a resident Lodge Manager. In addition, communal facilities include an Owners\u2019 Lounge, Guest Suite and landscaped gardens.<\/p>
