Churchill Retirement Living is proud to announce that its charitable arm the Churchill Foundation<\/a><\/strong> has raised a total of over \u00a3250,000 in its first full year.<\/p>\n

This impressive total will help a wide range of charities, including the Foundation\u2019s main partner charities for 2016, Macmillan Cancer Support<\/a>, The Silver Line<\/a>, ChildLine<\/a> and WellChild<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Churchill Foundation is a registered charity, with Dame Esther Rantzen DBE as its Patron. The Foundation enables Churchill to support the many local communities where it works, and give to a wide range of charities based on three core areas: the relief of sickness, disease and human suffering; the promotion of health amongst the elderly; and the support and wellbeing of the young.<\/p>\n

As well as its main partner charities, the Foundation also runs a Small Grants programme to support many different local organisations and causes all over the UK.<\/p>\n

Spencer McCarthy, Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s Chairman & CEO and a Trustee of the Churchill Foundation, said:<\/p>\n

\u201cAt Churchill Retirement Living we believe strongly in giving something back to the communities we build in. The Churchill Foundation is a relatively new initiative that we are very proud of and its aim is to transform people\u2019s lives by supporting a wide range of charities. We\u2019re delighted with the success it\u2019s achieved in its first full year, raising well over a quarter of a million pounds for national and local causes which all mean a lot to us.<\/p>\n
