Antiques enthusiasts in Cirencester are being invited to join Churchill Retirement Living at its Beecham Lodge<\/strong> <\/a>development for a special charity valuation event.<\/p>

Renowned auctioneer and TV personality Philip Allwood from Moore Allen & Innocent will be giving expert advice and valuations on people\u2019s hidden treasures on Saturday 1st<\/sup> October between 10am and 2pm at the Lodge on Somerford Road.<\/p>

Visitors will be treated to refreshments and will be asked to make a \u00a33 donation for each item they have valued. All of the money raised on the day will go to The Nelson Trust Charity, who provide a residential treatment centre and comprehensive programme of care and support for people seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.<\/p>

Rachel Walsh, Regional Sales Manager at Churchill Retirement Living, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a real coup for us to have Philip offering valuations at the Lodge, especially for people that will be familiar with his work on Bargain Hunt and Dickinson\u2019s Real Deal. We hope that those that bring along their antiques and collectibles for Philip to cast his expert eye over will find out it\u2019s worth much more than they expected.<\/p>
