Local MP Bill Esterson has placed an official date brick at Churchill Retirement Living\u2019s new Formby development to mark the start of construction of the highly-anticipated retirement apartments.<\/p>

Once complete, the development on Lonsdale Road in Formby, will comprise of 42 private, self-contained one and two bedroom apartments that are specially designed for the over 60s.<\/p>

The apartments will include features such as a video-entry system, lift to all floors, a 24 hour care and support system, and a Lodge Manager. In addition, communal facilities will include an Owners\u2019 Lounge, Guest Suite and landscaped gardens.<\/p>

Stephen Freer, Midlands Commercial\/Construction Director at Churchill Retirement Living, said: \u201cWe were delighted that Mr Esterson was able to join us to mark this occasion. Churchill\u2019s properties offer security, peace of mind and independent living for our Owners, along with community and support.<\/p>
