Spencer McCarthy comments: \u201cthe success of this award has been achieved through our exceptional customer service. Churchill has developed a Customer Charter for all those seeking to buy a retirement apartment in the UK, and this is the standard by which we judge our customer service. We are delighted that our attention to this area of the business has been reflected in these awards for local companies along the South Coast.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The judges were looking for the fulfilment of several different criteria as they considered the shortlist, among which was a clear relationship between customer service activities and improved business performance, as well as a clear understanding of customer needs. The judges said \u201cChurchill Retirement Living won the RSM Tenon Customer Service Award because they clearly demonstrated that customer service forms the foundation of their business.\u00a0 The management team took this to a new level by sending a team to America to see how customer service is delivered in the USA.
